How did it all begin?

In the spring of 2023, a simple trip to Boston for a workshop at Harvard became the unlikely catalyst for LLIVO.COM. What started as a series of travel mishaps – a canceled cab at the airport, the endless waits for a ride, and the frustration of navigating a new city – sparked an idea that would eventually reshape the way we think about travel and hospitality.

It was my last day in Boston, gearing up for a return trip to Dallas, when a casual conversation with my host uncovered a mutual opportunity. Faced with the prospect of another unreliable ride to the airport, I half-jokingly suggested that she could offer a lift instead. To my surprise, she loved the idea. Not only could she have saved me from the hassle of finding last-minute transportation, but she also saw the potential in offering more personalized services to guests like guided tours of the city, recommendations for dining, and, of course, reliable transport from point A to B.

It was a revelation – this kind of personal touch could turn a standard stay into a memorable, meaningful experience. And so, Llivo.com was born.
